We build shipping crates

Much of the equipment we work with is quite valuable. It's also quite heavy. It needs to be able to travel to anywhere in the country in safety. The base frame of our standard crate is made from crossed 4x4s counter-bored and bolted together at each intersection. The deck planks are attached securely with long screws. The front and rear panels are overlapped part way down the base and screwed into the base for added strength. All of the panels including the top have 2x3 stiffeners.

Our standard design can be moved with a pallet jack from the front or back. It can be lifted with a forklift from all four sides.
