Robust and enduring, we do our best to build machines that live up to the name: Heavy Duty Machine.
We build heavy duty discharge systems (discharge presses) that are simple, easy to use, easy to clean, and modular in design. This one has a hydraulic cylinder with a longer than standard stroke for use with two different height mix cans.
We have made or refurbished thousands of parts for industrial mixing equipment. Scroll through our photo gallery to see what we have manufactured and upgraded.
Various options are available including bottom and sidewall jackets, outlet valves, various finishes, etc.
This 40 HP electric motor sounded fine while running and when turning the shaft by hand. Unless you held your ear against it that is. We pulled it apart and installed new bearings.
Here's an example of how we don't just rebuild machines, we make them better. We found that the existing part was not properly machined to allow grease to reach a critical bearing.
When it comes to highly polished stainless steel finishes on machined or fabricated parts (especially sanitary fittings and other custom sanitary parts), we ask ourselves what quality of workmanship we would expect if we were the customer.
We have a great deal of experience with Ross mixers like this model HDM-200 heavy duty planetary mixer that we completely rebuilt. Although this machine was well made, it had been pushed to its limits for many years in an extremely tough application and was in need of a major rebuild. We replaced the failed David Brown gear reducer with a new Delroyd gear reducer. We also replaced the air/oil lift cylinder with a new one of heavier duty design. We completely rebuilt the planetary gearbox. We also took the opportunity to move the 40 HP motor further to the rear and to restack the counterweights further to the rear to better balance the machine for prolonged cylinder life.
